Your Role

To serve our growing global talent acquisition and personnel development needs, we are building a core HR team at our headquarters in Stuttgart. We are looking for an HR Business Partner with entrepreneurial and leadership skills to spearhead this endeavor. This is a permanent, full-time role, reporting directly to Swabian Instruments’ CEO.

Your entrepreneurial responsibilities

  • Build, organize and grow Swabian Instruments’ HR department
  • Attract, train, and lead a small, highly skilled recruiting team
  • Ensure consistent and transparent salaries throughout the company
  • Mentor and drive leaders to continuously develop their personnel
  • Build the company’s employer brand recognition
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose and enhance its performance

Your talent acquisition responsibilities

  • In partnership with business, design and own a talent acquisition strategy
  • Understand the expected outcome and required skills for new created positions
  • Organize and lead a goal oriented recruitment process, placing the candidate at the focus of attention along the candidate journey
  • Work closely with leaders and develop high quality assessments
  • Communicate with candidates and guide them through the recruiting process
  • Actively source and connect with potential candidates on social media
  • Conduct initial screening calls assessing the candidate’s fit for the role
  • Schedule, evaluate, and debrief candidate assessments
  • Mentor and drive leaders to conduct behavioral interviews and negotiate job offers
  • Represent the company at internal and external recruiting events

Your personnel development responsibilities

  • Work closely with team managers to plan and execute onboarding, buddy programs, training, teaching, sabbaticals
  • Mentor and join team managers in all personnel talks and salary negotiations

Your profile

  • 3+ years experience in talent acquisition and personnel development in a high tech environment
  • Strong interviewing skills, ability to switch perspective and read between the lines
  • Demonstrated success speaking with and assessing candidates’ skills and drive
  • Skilled in negotiation, judgment, decision-making and the ability to influence prospective and current talent as well as internal stakeholders
  • Proactive team member who collaborates on solutions and addresses business challenges
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Track record of exceptional hires that you brought onboard
  • Experience in leading and developing a high performing talent team is a plus
  • University degree is strongly preferred
