Your Role

The overwhelming demand for our products coupled with strong market potential has driven the need to significantly expand our sales team. We are looking for a Sales Team Leader to spearhead this endeavor. This is a permanent, full-time role, reporting directly to Swabian Instruments’ CEO.

Your responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and lead a small, highly skilled sales team of scientists and engineers
  • In close collaboration with the CEO, develop and implement the company’s growths strategy
  • Assure the execution of a highly efficient sales process
  • Onboard, lead and develop international distributors
  • Achieve agreed upon growth and profit targets
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose and enhance its performance

Your profile

  • MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in international sales in high-technology and research markets.
  • Strong sales skills. Ability to listen, reflect and understand customer needs.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams.
  • Strong interviewing skills, ability to switch perspective and assess candidates.
  • Track record of exceptional hires that you brought onboard.
  • A dedicated leader, skilled in coaching and developing team members.
