Your Role

The overwhelming demand for our products coupled with strong market potential has driven the need to significantly expand our sales team. We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer / Scientist to join this endeavor. This is a permanent, full-time role, reporting to our sales team leader. Your responsibilities

  • Secure deals with our existing customers and find new business among research driven organizations ranging from top universities to small and large tech companies.
  • Generate business by representing the company at major scientific exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Identify potential customers and the decision makers within the customers’ organization.
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Plan approaches and develop proposals that speak to the prospects’ needs and objectives.
  • Set up meetings and build relationships with customers’ decision makers.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve agreed upon growth and profit targets.

Your profile

  • MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is a must.
  • 3+ years experience in international sales in high-technology and research markets.
  • Strong sales skills. Ability to listen, reflect and understand customer needs.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex concepts in a polished, clean manner
  • Ability to prioritize and be persistent in a very fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
  • Competitive drive and energy to learn and improve consistently
