Thanks to your broad technical knowledge you’re able to quickly understand the challenges of scientists and engineers in their labs and offer solutions to them. With your outstanding communication skills, you engage with international top scientists and you are eager to provide them with cutting edge technology to turn their research ideas into reality.

Swabian Instruments is a young research-driven company based in Stuttgart, Germany that develops instruments for the generation and acquisition of digital signals, with applications in single photon counting, timing & synchronization, and dynamic light scattering. Your role

You will join our Stuttgart based sales team. You will be responsible for your own market segment. This could be a region of the globe or an application domain, for example Quantum Communication or Frequency Stability Analysis, according to your expertise. You will take care of our growing customer base in your market segment and make potential customers aware of our enabling solutions. Together with the Application Scientists you represent Swabian Instruments at major international scientific conferences.

Your tasks

• Understand the needs and research goals of scientists and engineers at universities and in industry, and offer them solutions based on our products
• Meet with our potential customers at scientific conferences and trade shows and present our products to them
• Visit our customers, learn about their applications and feed your understanding back to our product development team

Your profile

• Master or PhD in physics, electrical engineering, software engineering, or equivalent
• Passion for scientific instruments
• Ability to quickly understand the challenges of scientists and engineers in their labs
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• You are goal oriented
• Experience in Sales and Business Development is a plus
