Mandarin-speaking Application Scientist (m/f/d) - Quantum Technologies

We are looking for an outstanding physicist with a background in photonics quantum technology or a similar research field and profound knowledge of the Mandarin language and the Chinese culture to strengthen our scientific application team in Stuttgart.

Your task

  • Consult our customers with their demanding quantum technology applications
  • Develop reference implementations within quantum technology, exploiting our high-end products
  • Represent Swabian Instruments at major scientific exhibitions and trade shows
  • Design and implement application-specific demo setups and test benches

Your profile

  • PhD in experimental physics
  • Excellent communication skills with profound knowledge of the Chinese language and culture
  • Very good communication skills in English
  • You are passionate about finding solutions to technical challenges
  • Substantial expertise in data acquisition and single-photon counting
  • Robust knowledge of scientific programming languages, e.g. Python, Matlab, LabView
